RESIDENTIAL RECYCLING
Payments can be made online by logging in to your account. Visit our Customer Portal Page for more information.
New commercial customers will need to create an account when first using the system.
To pay by phone please call the office at 956-299-8025.
Please have your recycling cart ready for pickup by 7:00 a.m. on collection day or the night before.
Please place cans with wheels facing your home and at least 3 feet apart.
Please use our Contact form or call the office at 956-299-8025 and we will assist you with obtaining a new cart.
We offer a 96 gallon cart for residential recycling service. A refundable deposit is required for use of the cart.
Your recycling is collected every other week depending on your route. If your service day is followed by an “A”, you are on the A route and if it is a “B” you are on a B route. Download the 2022 Recycling Calendar
Yes, you can have up to 2 carts. To request a second cart please use our contact form or call us at 956-299-8025.
Items not acceptable for single stream recycling: light bulbs, ceramic dishes, cookware, metal coat hangers, Styrofoam, packing materials, plastic bags, aluminum foil or foil pie pans.
Redfish Recycling provides single stream recycling collection for all plastic bottles #1 & #2, aluminum and tin cans, cardboard, and mixed paper. Mixed paper includes: junk mail, magazines, catalogs, newspapers, phone books, cereal and cracker boxes, wax coated paper (milk cartons), and cardboard. Redfish Recycling would prefer that large cardboard boxes be flattened down. Styrofoam packing material and plastic bags must be removed from the boxes.

RedFish is a single stream recycling service! No sorting is required.
Cart are delivered within two business days of the date of sign up. Service will begin on your next service day and week after the cart is delivered. To determine your recycling week, view our Recycling Calendar.
You must call our office at 956-299-8025, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in advance when you plan to move, cancel, or transfer service. You may also use the Contact form on our website.

The size of our recycling carts is 64 gallon.
A waste audit of your organization’s waste stream to determine what we can and can’t recycle according to your organization’s processes and systems. Upon completing the waste audit, your RedFish Representative will give you an estimate on how much you can save by recycling.

Recycling is picked up on your designated service day or days. Service is usually provided between 4 and 5 am.
Recycling is picked up on basis of 1-5 times a week (Monday – Friday), depending on the recycling volume and frequency of your organization’s waste stream.

An extra fee, determined as a percentage of the base rate, charged by transport companies to allow for the fluctuating costs of fuel. It is intended to protect the carrier if the price of fuel rises during transport.
